KUNERT WARM-FIBER

The newly developed fibre KUNERT Warm-Fiber is predominantly used for fully fashioned stockings and knitwear. It stores the body heat superbly, creating a pleasant temperature so your legs feel comfortable.

KUNERT WARM-FIBER PLUS

We developed the KUNERT Warm-Fiber plus specifically for the foot area of our knitwear and fully fashioned stockings. This innovative fibre actively raises the surface temperature of the
foot by approx. 2 °C. Like the KUNERT Warm-Fiber, so the Warm-Fiber plus is an excellent thermal insulator.

KUNERT WARM UP PERFORMANCE TEST WITH A THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA

The picture of the thermal imaging camera shows that the area of the stocking where the newly developed KUNERT Warm-Fiber plus is used is considerably warmer. The innovative fibre raises the surface temperature of the foot by approx. 2 °C. This generates a comfortable, warm sensation, particularly in the cold-sensitive toes.

KAPOK - THE NEW NATURAL FIBRE FOR KNITTED PRODUCTS

The kapok fibre is a natural product. The fruits of the kapok tree grow capsules of up to 20 cm in length. After they are harvested, they are opened, and the fibres are removed and dried in the sun. The kapok fibres are highly elastic and almost six times lighter than cotton fibres.

There are five good reasons for using the kapok fibre:
- Kapok is a hollow fibre about 80% of whose surface area consists of entrapped air. This ensures a natural temperature-regulating effect.
- Natural bitterns keep moths and mites away in a natural manner.
- Kapok is a natural resource and 100% bio-degradable.
- Kapok is easy to wash and care for, like the cotton fibre.
- The fibre is also well tolerated by persons with allergies.
